SHED/循 is a collaborative and immersive live audiovisual performance. Through the use of 3D motion capture and Unity rendering, all under the live control of Max/MSP, the performers’ physical presence and movements are captured, processed, and encoded into a stream of manipulable pixels and audio samples. This creates a hybrid entity, born from bodily data and generative digital signals. Every motion of the avatar is dictated by program commands; its fate is woven in threads of code. In the performance space, the performer sits next to the audience, not just manipulating the code but also influenced by its constant feedback. Hence, the process of coding becomes internalized by the performer, Within this system, both the human performer and their digital avatar are integrate together by the computer program. The visuals of this digital being—its every gesture, its very form, down to the last pixel—triggers a soundscape of urban noise drawn from real-world human activities. These sounds are synthesized to simulate the processes of life becoming, creating an illusion of the avatar’s self-awareness. The captured electronic signals release a scream charged with emotion as they are coded, sustained by an endless flow of program commands. In “SHED/循,” the body, having lost control and become ensnared by its own data, struggles within the intertwined terror of an existential crisis and a data crisis, questioning the nature of identity in an age of digital replication.

SHED/循是一场多人合作的沉浸式现场视听演出。借助 3D 动作捕捉和Unity建模，在Max/MSP的实时操控下，表演者的身体特征和移动轨迹被喂入程序，编码为可操控的像素点（Pixel）和采样点 (Sample) 。作为一个由无机的数字信号和有机的真实肉体数据合成的“生命体”，化身的行动完全依赖于程序指令，Ta的命运完全由代码决定。

在现场，实时编改程序的的表演者在观众身边，操作代码的同时也在接收代码的反馈。这套持续的运算规则被表演者，吸收着，最终内化为指引思考的逻辑之一。在这个演出中，无论是表演者还是她的化身，都被计算机调控，二者逐渐成为不可分割的一体。数字生命体的视觉上的一举一动，存在形态，乃至每一个像素点的变化，都会触发不同的现实世界噪音，这些噪音在程序中合成着生命活动，通过代码建构的化身活着的幻觉。捕捉到的电子信号在编码的过程中富有情绪的尖叫，并被无尽的操纵指令所滋养。在这个演出中，失去控制、被困于程序编码的身体似乎挣扎于存在危机和数据危机的交织的恐惧之中。
